Laird Nossuli

Laird is CEO of iEmergent, a market intelligence and forecasting platform that helps lenders leverage data and diversity to better meet the home financing needs of the communities they serve. She leads the industry’s only technology that maps the movement and growth of racially and ethnically diverse communities and equips lenders with the intelligence needed to serve these established and emerging markets. A key piece of iEmergent’s mission to show lenders how to grow their businesses while working to close the homeownership gap.

Laird has set iEmergent apart with its ability to provide lenders with a unique prism of historic-, current- and future-focused demographic, economic, housing and competitor data at both the macro- and micro-level. With algorithms that have predicted mortgage market trends with great accuracy, iEmergent identifies emerging opportunities and gives lenders future-focused intelligence via dynamic maps and strategic tools.

Since taking the reins of iEmergent as CEO in 2014, Laird’s equity- and opportunity-driven message have been foundational to iEmergent’s advisory approach and product development efforts.

Laird’s passion for housing equity and commitment to collaborating with housing affordability workgroups have made her one of the industry’s most sought-after thought leaders on data-driven and innovative diverse market strategies. She currently sits on two committees for the MBA’s CONVERGENCE-Columbus program and is a national partner with the MBA across its broader CONVERGENCE initiatives in Memphis, Columbus and Philadelphia. Most recently, Nossuli was named to the 2023 Industry Titan list, and was selected as one of 17 “Women of Inspiration” by National Mortgage Professional magazine.

Laird holds a bachelor’s degree from Swarthmore College and a master’s degree in Community Development from the University of Michigan.
