Asad co-founded GreenLyne Inc. in 2022 with the mission to advance the next generation of fair lending AI models for high precision credit risk prediction and inclusive loan optimization.

Asad has pioneered the design and implementation of highly scalable, high performance, and automated Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning systems.  His research has increased the speed of existing Machine Learning algorithms over 100-fold, which enables personalization of loans that pinpoint the “sweet-spot” between loan affordability and loan profitability.

Asad has designed the computing architecture that enables full-scale automation of Machine Learning on low-cost cloud computing hardware, democratizing the use of advanced AI techniques for financial institutions of all sizes.

Asad was appointed as an independent auditor and fair lending monitor by the NAACP and civil rights law firms to assess underwriting credit model bias across numerous financial institutions and de-bias existing models.

Asad has contributed widely to the open-source AI & Machine Learning software community, published in numerous scientific journals, spearheaded breakthrough risk prediction algorithms that have led to the formation of multiple new ventures.

Asad holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, and a PhD in Computational Physics from Carnegie Mellon University.
